I am Ben Wittwer and I did the exchange year at Sacred Heart School of Halifax. I can tell you firsthand what the entire onboarding process was like. Other institutions left us alone with the complicated processes of Canadian immigration. Then me and Dad decided to do the whole process without any organization. Now I want to pass on this experience so that you can start an exchange year without any worries. And I tell you it is mega cool!

Ben wanted to go on an exchange year. The requirement was that the school had a level so that he could catch up with his high school again after the exchange year. So Canada was already perfect. Now we wanted to contact institutions, but they were not specific enough with regard to immigration. So we looked for a school ourselves, and visited it several times, discussing a lot with the school management and also with the Canadian authorities. We have also met numerous homestay families from Sacred Heart School of Halifax. Thus, we both have become experts for exchange years in Halifax. We will book everything for you on request or tell you how to do it.
